The natural frequencies, mode shapes, damping ratios, stress and fatigue life are assessed through a combination of measurement and modelling to inform design solutions, longevity, risk control, and mitigation solutions as required.

Mainwave’s Finite Element Analysis capabilities include assessment of footfall induced vibration in buildings, design of stiffening, bracing, and added mass solutions to shift natural frequencies and reduce vibration levels. Vibration isolation mount design and specification services are also available.
